Looks like a pretty exciting camera. I can’t wait till mine comes in, so I can try it out the window or off the platform of a moving train…. As of 11/27, the local camera shop can’t keep them in stock at this point – they are sold before they even arrive.

I love the extra protection from the elements. I must see an inenependent analysis of the noise at > ISO 400. If low, I’ll buy!

I’ve resisted jumping on the D-SLR bandwagon for so long now, and I’ll still hold onto my 35mm’s till they pry my dead fingers off of them, but I do believe this K10D will be the one to make me finally take the plunge into D-SLR!

Wow, looks like Pentax is definitely back. I grew up watching my dad shoot Pentax, and I’ve been just hoping for them to come up with a killer dSLR to match their superb lenses. If image quality is on par with the features, the K10D will blow the competition out of the water.

Great camera – great value. Its in many ways better than my Nikon D200 costing almost twice as much. Anti-dust, Shake Reduction, and a great selection of fast prime lens.Nice Job Pentax!
