Canon has today announced its , the latest addition to (and new flagship model for) its EOS Rebel series, and we’ve just published our . Also known in some markets as the EOS 550D, the Canon EOS Rebel T2i is based around a variant of the eighteen megapixel image sensor from the company’s EOS 7D prosumer digital SLR, modified to provide four-channel rather than eight-channel readout.
